STATMAN: Statistical
Management 2000
YEAR 2000 COMPLIANCE
The following statements are Year 2000 readiness disclosures under the Year 2000 Information and Disclosure Act of 1998 (Public Law No. 105-271).
STATMAN stores and calculates dates with a four-digit format throughout its operational range. STATMAN allows the user to enter a two-digit shortcut for the year and recognizes the four digit format.
STATMAN will not produce errors processing date data in connection with the year change from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000. STATMAN recognizes the Year 2000 as a leap year. Therefore, when the system date reaches February 29th 2000, there will be no adverse affects on the software.
When two-digit dates are entered, STATMAN uses a heuristic to determine whether the date is from the 20th or 21st century. Version 2000 interprets Year 00 to 19 as the 21st century.
